Use XOR with ChatGPT

Add XOR to ChatGPT on the web as a custom MCP server, then pick it in any chat.

Who can add it

On the ChatGPT website, Pro accounts and Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces can add custom MCP servers.

  • Pro: ChatGPT’s help center says Pro connections can read and fetch, while “full MCP” is for Business, Enterprise and Edu. So XOR can always look things up, but ChatGPT may block saving.
  • Business: admins and owners add the server for the workspace.
  • Enterprise and Edu: admins and owners, and members an admin allows.

These rules are ChatGPT’s and change often. Its help center has the latest for your plan.

Add it

  1. On the ChatGPT website, open chatgpt.com/plugins.

  2. Choose +, then Add custom MCP server.

  3. Name it XOR. Under Connection, paste the address:

    https://systemofreason.com/mcp

  4. Choose OAuth for sign-in, tick I understand and want to continue, and choose Create as a plugin.

  5. Install it from your plugins and choose Connect. Sign in with your email and the code we send you.

  6. In a new chat, type @ and pick XOR.

You don’t need to turn on developer mode anymore.

On your phone

ChatGPT adds custom MCP servers on the web only. Add XOR there first.

Older steps

If your workspace still shows the older screens, it’s Settings, then Apps, then Create, with the same name and address.
