What a dollar gets you.

One dollar of credit buys about:

  • 19AI-written summaries
  • 19,000web page checks
  • 66,000notes saved
  • 1.2 GBkept for a month

The free $1 covers all of these except the summaries. Background agents write those, and they always use credit.

How pricing works

  • $1 free every month. It pays for everything except background agents' AI work and run fees. What you use comes out of it first. Light use often never goes past it.
  • Then prepaid credit. Add $10, $25, $50 or $100, or any amount from $10 to $1,000, by card. Sales tax is added on top where it applies; it never comes out of your credit. For now, US customers only.
  • Background agents always use credit. The AI's work and each run's fee come out of your credit, never the free $1. So an agent needs credit to run.
  • Before your first top-up, you can keep up to 10 things and 100 MB, make 100 web requests a day, and background agents don't run. Any credit lifts all of that.
  • You set the limits. Your account has a monthly limit ($50 to start; change it any time), and each access key can have its own cap. We email you at 50%, 80% and 100% of your limit, and when your balance drops under $2.
  • Running out never costs you your data. Everything turns read-only. You can still see and download it all, scheduled work pauses without charge, and nothing is deleted. Add credit and it all carries on.
Every price, for the technically inclined

Usage is metered per call, to a millionth of a cent, and drawn from your credit as it happens.

Background agents' model use

An agent's instructions are cached, so after its first turn most of what it reads is charged at the lower cached rate. Model use always comes from credit.

When credit runs out

Reads stay free and every resource turns read-only: writes are refused with a link to add credit, schedules and background agents skip their runs without charge, and inboxes answer webhooks with 503 so senders retry later. Keys keep working for reads. Background agents stop a little sooner: when credit runs low, their runs are skipped without charge, even while the free $1 lasts.
